In an effort to provide timely, reliable information about costs and quality for consumers to buy value in the healthcare marketplace, Florida law requires insurers and health maintenance organizations, providers, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, diagnostic imaging centers, health care practitioners providing non-emergency hospital services to calculate their prices according to a signle standard based on agreed upon service bundles.
The overall objective of this project is to deliver health care transparency tools and data extracts for consumers to find and compare the price of common health care services in their area.
Our roles and responsibilities:
